Adams is a long-time resident of Cooke County, where she enjoys being active and involved in volunteer opportunities. She is passionate about helping others and has over 18 years of experience with managing the financial and strategic aspects of operations. She has a broad range of knowledge and experience within business, marketing, and leadership.

Adams has her Master of Science in Management, with a marketing concentration, from Bellevue University. After many years of experience in management and some higher education, she chose a path that feeds her desire to serve the community and give back to others. Adams is boastfully proud of her son, Kaleb, who graduated from high school and became a United States Marine in 2020. Kaleb has been married to the best daughter-in-law since 2024. Adams is also a proud mother to her daughter, Kendyll, who is a senior at Callisburg ISD. Kendyll is planning to attend NCTC through the Red River Promise when she graduates and want to get into law enforcement. The baby of the family is Remi, a dapple-colored Dachshund, who loves to play and snuggle. Adams enjoys spending most of her free time with family, exercising, baking cookies or cooking, being outdoors for any reason, and exploring new places.

Adams states “As a proud and long-time resident of Cooke County, I have been privileged to witness the impact of how giving back to the community has improved people’s lives and has helped so many in need. I am excited to work with the amazing people in the community and with the Cooke County United Way’s Board of Directors. I’m looking forward to bringing the work of essential businesses and organizations to help more people in our community.”
