DAY OF CARING
Cooke County United Way's Day of Caring was created to promote the spirit and value of volunteerism, increase the awareness of local human service agencies and schools, and demonstrate what people working together for the community's good can accomplish. Day of Caring is a Call to Action – It is bringing together local volunteers to form teams for a few hours one day a year to literally act out “neighbor helping neighbor”. Day of Caring is not responding to a crisis, it’s responding to a need. A need to feel important and that someone cares. It’s just the simple acts that sometimes have great impacts!
Day of Caring 2018 was held on Friday, May 11th.
